Swamp Wood Art from
South Louisiana
The pieces shown on this site are from a private collection created from wood found in Louisiana’s swamps. The colors and shapes are natural—Mother Nature’s art. The finished pieces have a shellac coating. The charcuteries, coasters and some tables also have a resin finish. The wood from one log was carbon dated and is over 2,000 years old (232 BC).
